Started slow but turned it around

To say we started slow would be an understatement, We were second to almost everything for the first 25 minutes and it took us going a goal down and changing players and formation to wake up and improve. We wasted a lot of chances before conceding but the introduction of Aston Jacob McColgan, Aston Knight and Jay Tshiketa had an instant impact with Strength, intelligence and determination respectively and within 15 minutes of going behind we were leading 2-1 thanks to 2 goals from Kosheen Sappelton. Even though we were winning 2-1 at half time I was not happy because of the way we started the game and we needed to continue the way we ended the first half for the rest of the game. 2nd half we were better but continued to miss chances, De Quarnai Williams was superb all game and got a much deserved goal after linking up with Kosheen Sappelton after beating 4 players and riding many attempts to bring him down. Our last goal came from a superb cross by Kosheen Sappelton and a great volleyed finish from Daniel Lee at the far post.
Josh Capelin and Kieron Buchanan could have got off the mark for the club and Aston Knight also went close to scoring. We are into the next round and there were some really good individual performances from many players. Ryan Nash looked comfortable at left back and Kieron Buchanan contributed both at the back and going forward, solid performances from Matthew Wesley and Owen Richards.
THERE WERE Many CONTENDERS FOR MAN OF THE MATCH in my opinion, De Quarnai Williams, Kosheen Sappelton, Matthew Westley, Daniel Lee, Aston Jacob McColgan and Owen Richards but i will get a vote from the players asap to confirm their choice for man of the match.
