About Us
Fernwood Foxes Fc was founded in 2008 by Co-Chairman Scott Whittaker and Graham Pelling. The Foxes entered the New Newark Youth League st Under 11 level for the 2008/9 season and finished in a respectable 5th place.

More recently the club gained its first major silverware by winning the 2011/12 NNYFL under 10’s Division 2 title and also the NNYFL Division 2 Cup. The same team went the whole season unbeaten.

The Club has grown dramatically in size and this season, 2012/13 we will have over 100 across 9 teams and 17 members of staff. We also have the Foxes Soccer School for 4-5 year olds, teaching the basics in football, which allows them to progress into the under 6’s.

In January 2012 the club was awarded Charter Standard Accreditation, which is awarded for high standards of coaching, administration and child protection.
