The Ladies have a very exciting opportunity to help finish off the end of a great season for the team.
Ladies Vice Captain, Zara Juffkins, applied for the Aviva Grassroots Giveaway competition a few weeks ago. Completing 300 words about why Five Ways should win, she wrote about how strong the ladies side is at Five Ways OE, with the improvement in league standing from the previous season and increasing numbers week on week. Zara also, highlighting that Five Ways is now one of the only clubs in the country with a mainly female mini and Junior section.
From Zara’s entry, the ladies team were selected along with 11 other teams by Will Greenwood to be partnered with a premiership side who would deliver a coaching session. Five Ways Ladies were partnered with Worcester Warriors, the training session will take place on the 19th of April alongside Five Ways Ladies coaches Alex Nock and Ian Chaston.
Thanks to Zara's competition entry, the club has also won a £2,000 voucher for Gilbert that will help to get greatly needed equipment to support the club in expanding the numbers in the mini’s, juniors and adults sections.
