John, or Irish as he is fondly called by fellow players, started playing rugby in 2005 for Dudley Kingswinford before making the move to Five Ways OE RFC.Away from the rugby pitch, John enjoys Gaelic football, keeping fit, surfing and skiing. He also loves going back to Ireland to visit family and friends. When asked to describe himself in one word, John replied "Legend!"
