Having previously played for Bromsgrove RFC and spending most of his playing career at Kidderminster Carolians RFC, John moved to Five Ways OE RFC for the 2012/13 season and was named 1st XV Captain ahead of the 2014/15 season.John plays Fly Half and takes inspiration from Jonny Wilkinson. John also lives by the motto "There may be people that have more talent than you, but there is no excuse for anyone to work harder than you".
Off the field, John enjoys eating Stilton cheese and watching his favourite film, The Wolf of Wall Street.
