The Club is due to re-open its doors on Saturday, 4th July 2020 at 15:00.

However, things are not yet fully ‘back to normal’ as the pandemic is still with us, therefore the Committee has some important messages for everyone to ensure staff and customers remain as safe as possible. There is a possibility that the Police may visit the facilities on Saturday and possibly Sunday, so please ensure everyone signs in correctly (a register will be in the main entrance).

Social distancing rules of one metre plus will apply. And remember to drink responsibly.

What’s the plan?

We’re in the process of making the club as safe as possible for all members/guest and staff. Everything we do will comply with the Covid-19 Secure government guidelines.

Tables will be available both inside and outside the clubhouse.

We need you to register all family groups and individuals, detailing your/their Name and telephone numbers to enable contact (track and trace) should an outbreak take place. It also ensures we don’t overcrowd giving customers the necessary safe space to enjoy their visit.

How many People to a table?

For those where everyone seated is part of one or two different households (social bubble), you can have an outside or inside table up to a maximum of 6 people.

For a mixture of people from more than two households – observing social distancing protocols, a maximum of 6 people and only use the outdoors tables.

Opening

From Saturday 4th July, our opening times will be limited.

Saturday 4th – 3:00pm ‘til 7:00pm

Sunday 5th – 3:00pm ‘til 7:00pm

Weekdays – Closed

Note: these times will hopefully be for a limited time and will be reviewed following the weekend.

Entering the building

• Please use the Main members entrance or if locked the Patio entrance to enter the building.

• All internal doors (except those to the toilets- for modesty reasons) will be wedged open. This will reduce and mitigate any potential for transmission of the virus.

• There is a one way system in place either from the Patio or the Function room. Please observe this at all times.

• If you intend to drink in the Function room or outside on the Patio, please follow the one system and queue if necessary. Only one person allowed at the bar at any time!

Bar Service

• You must not drink at the bar, drinking is only permitted at tables.

• Stand back from the bar and place your order (cash or card payment accepted), any change will be placed on the end of the bar.

• Following placing your order please go to the end of the bar ( X marks the spot) and wait until your order has been completed and paid for. Your drinks will be placed on the end of the bar.

• Bar staff will only touch the bottom half of your glass.

• You should collect your drinks holding the top half of the glass. A sanitised tray will be provided to help you carry the drinks.

• A glass collection area will be provided, please take all your glasses to the marked area after each drink, as fresh glasses must be used in every case.

• Tables will be cleaned regularly, and fresh beer mats provided when a table becomes available. Any used beer mats will be destroyed.

• No snacks will be available at this time.

Toilet facilities
