Chester earn the spoils

Flint had the first effort on target, when new signing Lee Healey hit low shot that brought a good save from Alex Lynch in the Chester goal.
The National League side took the lead with 11 minutes on the clock, following good work by /harry White who slipped his marker before playing in the overlapping Jordan Chappell who sidefooted home.
Healey always looked the main goal threat for the Silkmen, and he rifled a shot just over from 20 yards out.
Both sides made a number of changes in the second half, with Chester introducing a number of trialists. It was one of these, Lucas Dawson, who secured the victory for the visitors on 77 minutes, who stuck a 25 yard effort into Nik Lee-Bulmer's net.
