Third friendly of the new campaign sees Flint fall at the hands of local rivals Holywell in what can only be described as an unsatisfactory display. Surprisingly it was Flint who almost took the lead after just one minute, Ben Jones laying in Adam Renshaw who's shot hit the foot of the post. Holywell took the lead on 29 through Johnny Hazledine when he reacted first to head home from a corner.
The second half was no better and on 69 Waynne Edawrds had an easy tap after an attack which sees a flat Flint defence. Flint pulled one back late on 84 when Ben Jones headed home on the line after a Kirk Murry headed effort hit the underside of the bar.
Flint now welcome Newtown to caer castle on Saturday.
