To day we collected all 3 points against local rivals Buckley and the point looked never in doubt. 20 minutes sees Aaron Edwards brought down by Buckley keeper Ben Jones but Stewart Carroll struck the awarded penalty against the post.
Flint went ahead on 22 minutes, Josh Roberts swinging in a corner from the right and Nathan Peate rises to head Flint in front.
The second half sees a couple of chances for Flint, Sam Jones having his 20 yard drive well saved on 57 minutes. A great ball from Phill Lloyd on 62 minutes is met by Aaron Edwards but his effort flies over the bar. Buckley have their only real chance of the game on 68 minutes, Tim Biglands long range effort is comfortably saved by Mike Jones in the Flint goal. Flint wrap up the game on 85 minutes, Ryan Hedges down the left plays forward to Shaun beck and his shot on the turn ends up in the back of the net.
A well earned and deserved victory to give us more confidence for the Rhyl game next Saturday.
