Today we travelled to Llanrhaeadr and came away with a 1-1 draw with a performance to be described honestly as "Rubbish". No shape no system and basically no imagination or idea. The whole game generally revolved around a lump up field every time Flint got the ball. Llanrhaeadr had the first chance of the game on 7 minutes, Josh Wood pulling out a good save from Mike Jones in the Flint goal with a low shot from just inside the box. Llanrhaeadr had another great chance on 10 minutes, Joe Vaughan curling a free kick just wide from the edge of the box following a foul from Ryan Davies. Flints first shot came on 15 minutes but Shaun Williams hit his shot wide from 22 yards out. Flint had a great chance to take the lead on 34 minutes when from a Jorden Beck cross, Shaun Beck played the ball back over and only 4 yards out Tom McGill heads well wide. The second half is all the same but we had the first chance of this half on 52 minutes, John Davies sending in a throw but it was Llanrhaedr's Robert Fox who headed towards his own goal and Darren Powell pulled of a great save to denie the own goal. Llanrhaeadr are unlucky on 59 minutes when Josh Wood rattled the cross bar with a well taken free kick from 28 yards out. Flints Tom McGill scuffs a shot wide on 60 minutes when put clear from a depht touch from Stewart Carroll. Llanrhaeadr take the lead on 84 minutes when from a corner to the near post Michael Jorden heads in unaposed. Flint somehow rescue a point deep into stoppage time when from a Adam Bailey throw, sub Jon Rush manages to score through a 6 yard scramble.
A really poor show today which basically should not be acceptable.
