About

The Flycatchers Cricket Club is a wandering club that has enjoyed a long history of traditional village cricket. Friendly yet competitive games of cricket, often following a pub lunch, and with the family on the boundary enjoying the setting and occasionally even watching some of the match.

Founded in 1935 by Freddy Macdonald, the club is proud to include cricketers from 3rd and 4th generations of the founder members. The club covers the Home Counties and Greater London area, and is a mixture of cricketers new and old, but mainly people who enjoy good cricket played in a friendly spirit! The Flycatchers are not part of a league and concentrate on friendly matches through the summer months.
