An outfield of Flycatchers (genuine and appropriate collective noun for Flycatchers) met bright and early at Ashridge Golf Club. After some last minute re-organisation of the groups to go out due to a last minute drop out, as has been known to happen during the cricket season also, the morning fourballs were underway. After a heavy lunch of double meat as well as an assortment of red wine, the afternoon was saw 9 holes of foursomes.

The spoils were mostly snapped up by the guests from Hertford who took home the team prize for the morning fourballs and another guest came in with the best individual score of 41. However as guests can't take home the coveted prizes, the best Flycatchers individual scores were Greg Tustain and Rory Banks on 37 with Rory taking home the Flycatchers Rose Bowl on count back. The afternoons foursomes and the Exxon Tankers were won by Ollie Banks and Cliff Cavanagh.
