We have excellent news that we are close to securing the services of a prime overseas player from India for our 1st XI for the season ahead. As always there are some formalities and logistics to complete, one important part being that we need to find a suitable host and base for him for the season.

Usually this is arranged quietly behind the scenes, however this year we are reaching out on a wider basis to everyone involved with the club as we believe this is a really exciting opportunity to share.

He comes warmly recommended by Himanshu [“Himmy”] Waingankar, our legendary overseas star for many years from Mumbai, and has been playing a high standard of representative cricket in Mumbai and played for India U23s in the Emerging Asia Cup scoring 100 not out.

If you have the space, the interest and excitement to host this engaging young man then please reach out. He is fluent in English, well-educated and a driver.
