In back to back games Waterhead proved to be a greater challenge in the semi compared to the previous week where they suffered a 54-0 loss against a dominant Folly eager to make ground at the top of the Div.2 table. It might have been prospect of a cup final appearance that enhanced Waterhead's performance, but the newly established Folly team stood up to the challenge and weathered the storm, finally winning 36-24.
The team have taken giant strides since their first ever game as a team which was only last August. They are continuing to develop under the leadership of Ian Nichol, Tom Warburton and Andy Burgess. The hard work from the lads in recent weeks is paying off and everyone wishes them well in the final against Crosfields.
Try scorers were Josh Holker and Luke Jackson both with 2 tries each, and Cameron Bolton along with Mal Ceesay scored a try a piece. Harvey Kennedy kicked an impressive 5 from 6 to complete the scoring.
