The holding group has been the life blood of a our club and has been the catalyst of the growth of the club since the groups establishment in 2011, where the large majority of the players within our current teams have progressed from the group to their respective teams.

The aim of the group is to give children between the ages of 3 and 6 a basic understanding of the game and the attributes required to play rugby league, whilst promoting a fun experience for every child.

Currently the session is ran at Pendlebury Recreation Centre every Saturday morning, between 11 am and 12 pm, which will be the extent of the commitment required from any interested coaches.

Our club will provide the necessary resources for them to deliver the sessions within a team of coaches, including equipment, training aids/session plans and ultimately the opportunity to become a Level 1 or 2 coach via the Rugby Football League.
