Another match where FHP dominated possession, controlled the match and created far more goal scoring opportunities within the first twenty minutes, but lacking the finishing on a heavy pitch proved to allow the away side a stave of execution.
Midway through the first half, literally the only chance Phoenix had - a gifted chance after a defensive error - they surprisingly scored from a poor corner.
0-1
The hosts continued to show their technical superiority throughout the rest of the match, creating a number of good chances, unfortunately these opportunities were spurned as Phoenix fought for their lives, as their backs were constantly 'against the wall' it appeared as though the luck of the gods were on their side.
It wasnt until late in injury time that the Phoenix defence was finally unlocked as Prince took one of the chances to slot home in the right bottom corner, leaving the away side deflated and FHP slightly relieved to finally score, in a match that they really should have been put to bed in the first half.
1-1
