FOUR MARKS THROUGH TO 3RD ROUND AFTER BEATING ALDERSHOT SENIOR LEAGUE SIDE WEY VALLEY

The marksman played host to Wey Valley of the Aldershot League in this second round ADFA cup tie.
Four Marks started the game slowly and Valley were to take advantage of the poor start when after only eight minutes Coyne put the visitors ahead. Almost straight from the the re-start Tom Refill broke free to bring the game level again.
The early goal against the marksmen made them realise that they were in a game, eleven minutes later Steve Brown put the home team in front. in a dominant spell fifteen minute before the interval Four Marks were to score four more, with goals from Faithful, Phillips and two more from Brown.
Wey Valley started the second half as they did the first with the marksman starting slowly, and when goalkeeper Brock slipped as he came out to narrow the angle Rogers took advantage and pulled one
back for the visitors. Four marks had chances to extend their lead further but found Sam Devlin in the Valley goal in inspired form.
Four marks were awarded a penalty in the 72nd minute which Tom Reffell converted to make the score 7-2 to Four Marks.
