This weekend would normally see our club run out 3 senior teams, Colts and 11 minis and Junior teams. Sadly lockdown 3.0 has put a stop to this, for what we can only assume to be the foreseeable future. We all hope that there could still be a chance that we will have the opportunity to return to rugby, however we have no idea what the future holds.
I cannot express how gutted I am, however safety must come first and we must follow the government and RFU guidelines.
Ironically this season has been very productive for the club with the resurfacing of the training pitch, plans for new flood lighting and the refresh of the Chainey room. Along with stability in our finances from the generosity of Just Giving, Grants, moving from a lease hold to a rental on Crossbow House, our sponsors and of course paying members
This will give us a firm foundation moving into next season which the exec and I are extremely proud of.
The exec will continue to meet (virtually) to discuss the running and plans for the club, we want to assure you that we are here for you should you need us.
Please reach out to us and each other to stay connected.
