Convincing win for Frampton U10's Mothering Sunday saw FCRFC U10's travel away to Tetbury. Team Mums who travelled were treated to a fine display of Rugby by their boys in the early spring sunshine. The game was played over four ten minute quarters an

A small Frampton squad gave little opportunity for substitution leaving us vulnerable to injury and fatigue but the Mighty Fram came out fighting from the start. Gabe immediately ran in the first of his four trys from the drop out which started a steady flow of scoring over the next 40 minutes. Lewis as Scrum Half and Nick struck up a productive working partnership early in the game resulting in Nick putting over the second try in the first quarter.

Buoyed up by a positive start a further seven trys were scored in the second quarter, three more for Gabe, (one of those kindly donated by Lewis who didn't realise he had actually crossed the try line), Jamie got his hattrick and Matt also defeated the Tetbury defence. Tetbury struggled to find form and were reluctant to play a physical game with a low tackle rate that offered Frampton opportunity again and again. The Frampton pack have consistently provided a solid platform to work from and they were no different during this match which only added to Tetbury's problems.

The third quarter saw trys for Jack and Jamie and the last quarter trys for Lewis, Jack and two more for Jamie making a personal tally of six.

It was great to see the boys really enjoy themselves and see what they can achieve when they work hard and support each other as one team.
