Olly ,Charlie and Leo performed well in the scrums and line outs. Some great tackling by Marcus and Leo prevented Clifton from scoring several tries. Rory and Royston worked well together in the centres and broke Clifton’s defensive line over and over again, but were stopped short of the line by the Clifton defence. Frampton’s perseverance was eventually rewarded by a late try scored by Nick Powell.

Marcus and George put in some great tackles and defended well. With strong running throughout the whole team, Jack was always there in support with the rucks and mauls. It was a pleasure to see all the kids enjoying themselves and a delight watching the commitment the whole team gave to the game.
