First Round Cup win

Once again , the physicality of all 20 players shone through, early hits by Adam, Will Cooke, Ben, Nick , Callum, Toby , Josh , gave Malvern a taste of what would continue all game . Line speed was ferociously fast, controlled aggression-all legal -was truly scary. The way our backs silenced their ‘talented ‘ back division was so impressive, and our work at the break down both with and without the ball is ever improving .
4tries , all by forwards , after good work by backs to get us in the red zone , were testament to the bruising determination of our ‘big ‘ boys ,and the willingness of the backs to play to our strengths on the day .
So many good things to celebrate , the ease with which we changed to dump and fan in the 2nd half to nullify their wide attacks, our inside shoulder protection in defence, A successful lineout!! Slick handling, a Josh cover tackle that shook the whole ground, solid play by Carlos again , good ground making by Josh , Brooke , class ouzing from centre Dan , scrum half Moser growing in confidence, Charlie controlling things at 10, Miles showing his versatility at full back ,Will looking menacing and Callum as evasive as ever in the backs.
Up front,our frontrow are beginning to function as a unit , Ben Sam Will Adam Charlie ... frightening ,
Toby ,James ,Alex , Riley , Louis and revelation Nick all performed with a hardness and positive attitude that is beginning to get rewards .
A great away win , still lots to do , but once again we have gone up to another level .And so many good players were’nt there on Sunday!!
