Todays game v Marshall court.

As we expected, today was going to be a battle on its own with the heat.
We started with the correct attitude and belief from last weeks game and took it to Marshall court, as we created chance after chance with no end product (also their liner was flag happy) but we continued our high press which resulted in us getting a corner on the 22nd minute. The ball was delivered in to much for the keeper he missed it when committing, it fell to Adam Daniel (suspicious hand ball) but he never stop and hit it was his left 1-nil.
We continued to play and control the game with brilliant football but yet again our chances wasn't taken, as Marshall court before the half broke on us and took their chance 1-1.
Halftime. (A few changes to the over heated and tired legs were made to freshen us up).

Second half.
With having fresh legs it didn't seem to change much, as all the hard work other players did work against us and we became second best and conceded a sloppy goal early on 1-2.
The goal must of woken us up because we chased the game, attack after attack wave after wave we finally got a corner again.
Leyton rushing over to take the corner on the 68th minute, whipped in.. to our surprise no one connected and it crept in 2-2.
Game on!!
You'll start to see a pattern now because we gave our all to win this game, attack after attack after attack was most of the second half which was nearly our down fall from all the hard work, they hit us on the attack and nearly scored but wasn't as clinical as they were in the first half. Phew. But did we learn? Nope!!
It happen 2/3 more times, but our defence was capable to control their attacks and get us going up the other end of the field, on the 80th minute John-Jo received the ball seeing Will Marchant on the run, played him through and he finished with a left foot just squeezing under the keeper 3-2 (our first goal from open play today)
Near the closing minutes of the game us fully in control Will fancied his chances from the edge of the box making the keeper get his hands to the ball, but in the path of Leyton (poor first touch) let the keeper gain yards on him but he got his shot off, with it just inches from crossing the line Will carried on from his shot and poked it over the line but the liners flag straight up ! even tho it wasn't sportsmanship to do so, he wasn't offside as he was behind Leyton when he shot) the goal was disallowed.. WILLLLLLLL cried Leyton and Freck's bench. The ref blew and Freckleton keep their unbeaten record going.
