Freeland found themselves in the quarter final of the Presidents cup against Yarnton.
The away side have been having a very good time of late and it continued in this quarter final.
The reds were out of the traps very earlier. In the first minute, they had taken the lead through a very good finish from Dean Mays.
Only ten minutes later and Top goal scorer Danny Taylor was in on the act with another good finish.
The away side had dominated the first part of the quarter final and surely it was only a matter of time before they got a few more goals and put this game to bed.
They didn’t have to wait long before their third goal did arrive. This was courtesy of a marvellous finish from distance with his right foot from right wing back Adam Bowerman.
Then only a matter of minutes later that man again Danny Taylor got his second and Freeland’s fourth to well and truly put the game out of reach from the home side.
There was however still time for newish signing Tom Parker to get his first goal for in the club.
He went on a mazy run down the right-hand side cut back on his favoured left foot and smashed it past the keeper at his near post.
Not to be outdone though Tom McCudden did get in on the act in the final minutes with a close-range finish.
Another Saturday another win. Can we keep this excellent form of late going?
Local Derby next week. Already look forward to it. I love Saturdays.
