The Azzurris assault on the prestigious Integro Cup is over for this year. The glamorous prospect of a cup final evening in Droylsden or Widnes is now just a fading memory.....

With both teams providing combative midfield displays, goal mouth action was at a premium. Haze broke the deadlock on the quarter hour with a typical Jacob Hazel goal - splitting the defence with his run & then firing past the keeper - his 103rd goal for the club.

At the other end, the visitors scored with a header on the stroke of half time.

The game ended 1 each after 90 minutes, & so it went to penners. Sheffield scored 4 of theirs & we scored 3 of ours.

So it came to pass that Sheffield progress & we don't.
