Bluntisham 0-5 First team

The first team finished the month with an emphatic win away at Bluntisham, James Cooper has been instrumental on his return to the club, this performance maybe the peak…so far. Some resolute defending namely by Ollie Thomas in the opening exchanges stopped GUFC from going behind, once this storm was weathered it was one way traffic. Coops scored the first, firing home a one-on-one, before Jamie Steele headed home before the break. The third goal Conor tapped home following a parry from Coop’s effort, and it was Coop’s again who scored the fourth goal, another one-on-one with a deft finish. Conor, who has had fine form since returning to the firsts this season capped his performance with another goal slotting the ball under the keeper from a tight angle.
