The first team continued their fine run of form, stretching it to 6 wins in a row in all competitions. The game was one-way traffic. The highlight of the day was the hat-trick for Thomas Barker, the 17 year old is really asserting himself as a presence in the first team this season. Two goals from Jimmy Walker added to the score line, as did a goal apiece from young centre half Oliver Thomas who has stepped up into the firsts seamlessly, Tom Mac and Conor Smith. Though tougher tests will come, getting lots of goals and a clean sheet meant it was a good day for Matt Steele’s men.
