A few words from our chairman Brian Close and director Craig Bannister....

Firstly we hope that you and your loved ones are keeping safe and well in these unprecedented times. With the season ending as it did we wish to express our thanks and gratitude to everyone who was involved with us during the last campaign. Players, managers, volunteers, sponsors and supporters alike, all play an important part in the club.

Currently we are ticking over despite taking a big financial hit, but we are not alone. With a little help from the UK Government and the measures taken by the Toolstation NCEL Board we will get through this. We run a tight ship anyway so we are not planning any virtual football or setting up Just Giving appeals. In our opinion there are far more deserving causes. Our NHS and frontline workers have done us all proud and they are the type of organisations in most need during this emergency situation. When the time comes to resume proceedings we will then be asking you all to show your true support. In difficult times like this we have to put football into perspective. Sadly we recently lost our Club President Norman Hebbron to ill health. As with thousands of others we could not give him the send off that he deserved. Our health and well-being is far more important than the beautiful game.

We do have some great news to announce though, and are delighted to confirm that our management team have committed to carry on the good work that they started last season. Rest assured Paul and his management team have been working hard, and will be bringing in a few new faces to freshen things up once the football commences. We will not be announcing any new signings until the go ahead is given by the FA. As ever with players being free agents during close season, some may be leaving us. James Beaston our captain is the first. As a double blow we will lose his father Andrew, our match day secretary, too. We must say a big thank you to them both and wish them the best of luck for the future.

Finally we have had a few enquiries regarding season tickets. Due to the curtailment of last season, current holders did not complete their entitlement. Some have asked us to keep the difference in money but if you do need a refund please contact us. We will not be offering any new season tickets for sale until we know exactly when the next season will begin.
