The Miners will make the short journey to the Clayborn ground on Saturday 10th April to play our NCEL Premier Division neighbours Liversedge (kick-off 1pm). Sadly, like our match at North Ferriby last weekend, this one will also be played behind closed doors.

Uncertainty still surrounds the staging of the upcoming Yorkshire Trophy which, should it go ahead, would begin on Tuesday 13th April. The issue at heart is whether matches in Steps 3-6 of the football pyramid (Garforth being step 5) are classed as 'grassroots', alongside academy/reserve team and local leagues, and can therefore admit spectators. A Zoom meeting between the clubs involved is due to take place tomorrow evening and we hope to have confirmation afterwards.
