Match preview by Ben Franks

Garforth are on the road again this weekend, embarking on the short journey over to Bradford to face Eccleshill United tomorrow afternoon. With Garforth currently sat 5th in the table, the Miners will be hoping to return from the Mitton Group stadium with all 3 points in the bag.

Garforth have endured a tough and disappointing week leading up to this weekend's tie, which saw Town defeated at home in the league to Hallam and bow out of the cup quarter finals on Wednesday evening. Hopefully, Paul Marshall can rally his squad back into the swing of things with a result against a side Garforth have a favourable record over.

The Miners are unbeaten in 4 previous clashes with Eccleshill, winning 3. Last time out in October, Garforth cruised to a comfortable and impressive 4-0 victory at the Bannister Prentice stadium with goals from Liam Woods, Matt Ancliff and a James Burgess brace.

Eccleshill have struggled to find form at home so far this season, winning 5, drawing 2 and losing 6. Meanwhile Garforth have only lost 3 of 15 away ties so far this season, making Town the undeniable favourites. The Bradford side find themselves 16th in the table entering tomorrow’s tie, and Garforth will be ambitious to amount Eccleshill’s misfortune at home.

The ball gets rolling at 3pm tomorrow afternoon at the Mitton Group stadium.
