Friday night football returns to Garforth Town this week and this one is gearing up to be a classic.
Campion have accumulated seven more points than Garforth so far, but haven't won in four matches. Garforth narrowly lost at Thackley this week, after two big scoring wins the previous week.
The previous meeting between the teams was in a pre-season tournament last year.
Garforth went ahead through a James Burgess goal in the first half, but Campion scored twice after the break to take home the trophy.
Striker Marcus Day is joint second in the goalscoring charts with 11 goals so far this season, so will be the obvious threat to look out for.
We're delighted to have players from Garforth Villa Yellow U8s and Wakefield Jets U11s leading the sides out and no doubt providing some vocal support!
