Ben Frank casts his eye over tomorrows game

Up next for Garforth is another Yorkshire derby and a testing fixture as Sheffield’s Hallam FC make the journey up to the Bannister Prentice stadium tomorrow.

The visitors, who sit not too far behind the Town in 7th place, are on a impressive run of form – going 5 matches unbeaten in the league and having won 5 out of their last 7. Paul Marshall will be hoping to see his side get back to winning ways following a goalless draw away to Albion Sports last Saturday and a home defeat to Emley the week prior.

The last time Garforth faced off with Hallam the points were shared after a 2-2 draw, an entertaining occasion which saw Town go down to 10 men but not before Dexter Ball could salvage a point in the final minute of the match. James Burgess was the other goal scorer for Garforth, opening with the first goal 3 minutes in.

Garforth enter this important tie sitting 4th in the table, with the possibility to overtake 3rd place Emley should the results of Saturday’s matches go in Town’s favour. Hopefully the Miners’ will demonstrate why their home form has been so strong this season with another victory tomorrow afternoon.

The bar and snack bar will be open as usual, serving hot and cold refreshments.
