Joe Thornton and Joe Smith signed for The Miners yesterday as we gear up for tomorrow's Buildbase FA Vase tie against Sunderland West End. Attacking midfielder Thornton joins us from Yorkshire Amateur after originally committing to our neighbours in June. The 25-year old had previously previously played for Brighouse Town, Albion Sports and HT Sports. He's also spent time in Australia with Northern Fury.

Smith is a 20-year old centre-back who's previously played at Tadcaster Magnets, Dunnington and Copmanthorpe. Pics hopefully to follow!
