Pre-season continues tomorrow for Rob Hunter's side who travel to Ilkley Town. Simon Armstrong's men finished 4th in the West Yorkshire League Premier Division last season and have shown they too have firepower in their team with a 7-2 win over Salts FC in a friendly last weekend.

Whilst friendlies aren't always a reliable indicator of what we can expect in the season ahead, things have been positive so far for the Miners who've already recorded more wins and scored more goals than they managed in the summer of 2018. Can we keep it going?
