Claire has been brilliant at getting involved with every aspect of being a coach and member of the club, from throwing herself in at the deep end with coaching because the boys needed one and there was no one, even though she doesn't know the first thing about rugby. She dug in and researched, did her coaching course 2 weeks into volunteering & is thriving with the support around her. She then jumped on the organizing group to plan and execute the Portugal 2026 trip, with Corsar and Debbie and set up the payment account and chases for the payments, takes her turn on the tuck shop. Further more used her connections with Glen Wyvis to organize the gin and whisky for our fundraising efforts as well as scoping out Garioch key rings and team photos. Latterly Claire has also volunteered with Donna Moates & Vicky Richardson to look after the first aid room and be the focal point for first aid at the club.

All this whilst being a full-time emergency responder and mother. She epitomizes the values that the club wants in our volunteers and does it with a smile and a can-do attitude.
