Garstang host Ellesmere Port on Saturday as the two teams meet for just the third time. Garstang are again the hosts as they have been on the previous occasions and they will be keen to keep up their winning record against the side who sit one place above them in the league table.
With the league splitting into promotion and relegation sections in the New Year this is a huge game as Ellesmere Port sit above the line in fourth and Garstang below in fifth.
Garstang Coach Gavin Barton has cunningly shuffled his team with a load of changes from last week but he will be confident that the team he has assembled are more than capable of getting the crucial result.
The side will be led by Joel Dugdale who will pull on the Number Ten shirt on his return having sat out last week with a minor niggle.
The Blues are also in action as they travel to play Colne & Nelson 2nds.
