GCA – BRAINSTREET UNDER-15 COMPETITION DUE TO BEGIN THIS SATURDAY, 28TH MARCH 2015

The Georgetown Cricket Association and The Brainstreet Group Launched the GCA- Brainstreet Under-15 Cricket Competition 2015. CEO of Brainstreet Mr Lance Hinds once again stated that his company was delighted to partner with the GCA for the fifth year running to give the youths the opportunity to showcase their skills and looks forward to another successful competition.

The initial stage of the Competition this year will be played in two zones with the top two teams from each zone progressing to the semi-finals. The zone stage will see teams playing the usual 100-overs matches where points can be accrued for winning along with bonus points. The semi-final and final, however, will be played on a straight 50-overs a side must win basis.

The competition is scheduled to begin on Saturday, 28th March 2015 with a number of matches.

In 2014 GNIC won the Brainstreet League Trophy while Transport Sports Club won the Brainstreet CUP. This year there will only be the Brainstreet Trophy at stake.
