Too Many Late Knights Win Final On The Last Ball To Become Geddington CC 2019 Six A Side Champions.

Too Many Late Knight became Geddington Cricket Club 2019 Six A Side Champions after victory on the last ball of the final against Fine Legs at Geddington Cricket Club on Sunday 7th July 2019.

Too Many Late Knights chased their victory target of 57 in the Final on the last ball of the match, Marcus Knight (30) and Captain of the team Joshua Knight (25*) were the main run-scorers with the bat. Earlier, Fine Legs batted first and made 56-1 off their 5 overs.

Fine Legs reached the Final after finishing top of Group A, winning all three matches out of three, but they won two matches by just 1 run against Grange Road and last year's Champions the Headband Smashers.

Too Many Late Knights reached the Final after finishing top of Group B on runs divided by balls, after they were ahead by 0.07 on Boppers Legends on the runs divided by balls system, after three teams, Too Many Late Knights, Boppers Legends and Geddington School Parents all finished on 4 points each.

There were three half-centuries during the tournament, Ben York ( 67* for Headband Smashers), Oliver Brown (65* for Boppers Legends) and Jonathan Freeman (63* for Queen Street Royals) all made fifties in the Group Stages.
