Geddington 1st Team got their first victory in the Premier Division with a 24 runs victory away at Brixworth 1st Team.
Geddington were 85-5, before a 101 run partnership for the 6th wicket between Connor McAlinden and Lee Sutherland (42) got them up to their total of 197-6 off their 55 overs, McAlinden finished unbeaten on 74 off 58 balls which included 5 fours and 2 sixes, Kyle Morrison (34) was also in the runs for the visitors. Ashley Morris (4-46) was the pick of the Brixworth bowlers with four wickets.
In reply, Brixworth were All Out for 173 with 11 balls of the game left. Peter Caunt (66*) top-scored for the home side with an unbeaten half-century, Alex Lacey (34) and Ben Turner (27) were also in the runs for the hosts. Tiaan Raubenheimer (4-60) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with four wickets, Jamie Kay (3-32) and Morrison (3-53) both took three wickets each as Geddington got their maiden win in the Premier Division.
