Geddington 1st Team made it two wins in a row with a 91 runs victory over Stony Stratford 1st Team at Geddington on Saturday.
Geddington batted first and made 257-5 declared off their 51 overs, Mark Steele (74), Chris Murdoch (72) and Marc Bell (57) all scoring half-centuries for the home side, both Steele & Murdoch put on 102 for the 2nd wicket partnership and also Murdoch & Bell put on 111 for the 3rd wicket partnership to guide Geddington to a good total. Graham Simpson (3-46) was the pick of the Stony Stratford bowlers with three wickets.
In reply, Tiaan Raubenheimer (5-71) took five wickets with the ball for Geddington as Stony Stratford were All Out for 166 in 44.4 overs, Marc Bell (2-33) also picked up two wickets and there was also a wicket each for Connor McAlinden (1-14) and Jamie Kay (1-15) and a run out by Danial O'Callaghan for the home side. Jarrod Pretorius (63) top-scoring with a half-century for Stony Stratford, Nick Allen (35) and James Pickles (25) were also in the runs for the visitors.
