Geddington 1st Team were defeated by 72 runs against Rushton 1st Team at Rushton Cricket Club.
Tiaan Raubenheimer (5-45) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with five wickets as Rushton were All Out for 158 in 47.3 overs, Kyle Morrison (3-46) and Jamie Kay (2-40) were the other wicket-takers for the visitors. Bradley Armer (67) top-scored for the home side with a half-century, Daniel Bendon (41) was also in the runs for the hosts.
In reply, Andrew Reynoldson (3-15) and Bendon (3-25) both took three wickets each for Rushton as Geddington were All Out for 86 in 32.1 overs, Marc Jackson (2-24) also picked up two wickets for the home side. Morrison (27) top-scored with the bat for the visitors.
