Geddington 1st Team were defeated by 3 wickets at home against Brigstock 1st Team at Geddington Cricket Club in their first game of the new season.
Six wickets from Rob Pack (6-29) and four for Tashwin Lukas (4-52) were the main performers with the ball for Brigstock as they bowled Geddington All Out for 135 in 42 overs. Tiaan Raubenheimer (30) top-scored with the bat for the home side.
Lukas (38), Sat Singh (25) and Pack (24*) were all in the runs in the reply for Brigstock as they reached their target of 136 in the 40th over with 7 wickets down. Shoaib Nasir (2-21), Raubenheimer (2-23) and Luke Cummins (2-28) all took two wickets each for Geddington.
