Northampton Saints batted first and made 328-4 Declared off 49 overs, Saif Zaib (170 off 130 balls) in an innings which included 18 fours and 6 sixes scored an impressive century for the visitors, Emilio Gay (66) also made a half-century with the bat, Zaib and Gay put on 129 for the 2nd wicket partnership, Mark Wolstenholme (38*) and Jack Mousley (26) were also in the runs, Zaib and Wolstenholme put on 125 for the 4th wicket partnership. Tiaan Raubenheimer (3-92) took three wickets with the ball for Geddington, there was also a wicket for Chris Murdoch for the home side.
In reply, Geddington were All Out for 168 in 47.4 overs, Ben Mansell (60) top-scored with a half-century for the home side, Andrew Reynoldson (48) was also in the runs with the bat, Mansell and Reynoldson put on 94 for the 3rd wicket partnership. Zaib (3-27) took three wickets with the ball for Northampton Saints, there was also two wickets each for Charlie Home (2-20), Nick Bell (2-30) and Mayur Odedra (2-42) for the visitors.
