Defeat For Geddington 1st XI Away At Premier Division Leaders Finedon Dolben 1st XI.
Geddington 1st Team were defeated by 7 wickets against NCL Premier Division leaders Finedon Dolben 1st Team at Finedon Dolben Cricket Club on Saturday.
Geddington batted first and were All Out for 152 in 46.5 overs, Ben Mansell (54) in an innings which included 8 fours and 2 sixes top-scored with a half-century, Tiaan Raubenheimer (23*) and Jack Thurman (17) were the other main run-scorers with the bat for the visitors. Tom Brett (4-24) was the pick of the Finedon Dolben bowlers with four wickets, there was also two wickets each for Michael Evans (2-42) and Vicram Sohal (2-48) for the home side.
In reply, Finedon Dolben reached their victory target with 3 wickets down in the 33rd over, Callum Berrill (55) top-scored with a half-century for the home side, Drew Brierley (49*) and Sean Davis (29) were also in the runs with the bat, Berrill and Brierley put on 83 for the 3rd wicket partnership. Adil Arif (2-58) took two wickets with the ball for Geddington, there was also a wicket for Colin Griggs (1-27) for the visitors.
