The Northants Cricket League Premier Division match between Geddington 1st Team against Wollaston 1st Team at Geddington Cricket Club on Saturday ended in a Interrupted Draw, after a heavy shower ended the match with the home side on 40-2 after 8.2 overs.
Chris Murdoch (15-2-42-5) took five wickets with the ball for Geddington, as Wollaston batted first and made 175-9 off their 50 overs, George Parker (3-53) took three wickets for the home side, there was also a wicket for Adil Arif (1-41). Matthew Jones (45) and Harry Broome (41) were the main run-scorers with the bat, Broome and Jones put on 77 for the 1st wicket partnership, Lewis North-Row (20 off 18 balls) added late runs for the visitors.
In reply, Geddington were 40-2 off 8.2 overs, when the heavens opened, and no more play was possible, Tiaan Raubenheimer (17*) and Andrew Reynoldson (14*) were unbeaten with the bat for the home side. North-Row and Shea Gribben both took a wicket each with the ball for Wollaston.
