Charlie Gingell was the star performer with the bat as he guided Geddington 2nd Team to a 8 wicket win over Kempston Hammers 1st Team at Geddington Cricket Club on Saturday.
Gingell top-scored for Geddington with 93 which included 15 fours and 2 sixes in his innings, before both James Bye (22*) and David Goodjohn (20*) guided the home side to their victory target with over 14 overs to spare.
Earlier, Kempston Hammers were All Out for 166, Mark Pearson (4-27) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with four wickets, Harry Spence (2-12) and Matt Knight (2-46) both took two wickets each for the home side. Mark Harding (40*) top-scored for Kempston with John Collings (32) who was also in the runs for the visitors.
