Geddington 2nd Team were defeated by 162 runs against Kempston Hammers 1st Team at Kempston Hammers Cricket Club.
Martin McLennan (5-19) was the pick of the Kempston Hammers bowlers with five wickets, Ashley Field (3-8) also took three wickets for the home side as the visitors were 29-9 in their reply, but a 56 partnership for the 10th wicket between Phil Peel (31) and Matt Johns (24*) got Geddington up to 85 All Out in 33.2 overs.
Earlier, Mark Harding (47), McLennan (43), Mark Russell (32) and Field (31) were all in the runs for Kempston Hammers as they were All Out for 247 in 49.4 overs. Mark Pearson (5-66) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with five wickets, Harry Spence (2-35) also picked up two wickets for the visitors.
