Geddington 2nd XI V West Haddon & Guilsborough 1st XI Match Report:

Geddington 2nd Team got an important home win against West Haddon & Guilsborough 1st Team by 7 wickets to make sure of survival in the Northants Cricket League Division 4.
Connor McAlinden (5-34) was the star performer with the ball as he took five wickets for Geddington as West Haddon & Guilsborough were All Out for 121 in 49 overs. Brandon Holmes (2-18) also took two wickets for the home side, Mark Pearson and Marcus Knight also took a wicket each for the hosts. Alex Churchill-Coleman (40) top-scored for the visitors, Adam Berti (31) was also in the runs.
In reply, a half-century from Charlie Gingell (50) guided Geddington to victory with 17 overs to spare, Lee Sutherland (34*) and Steve Toseland (23) were also in the runs for the home side. Jack James (3-16) was the pick of the West Haddon & Guilsborough bowlers with three wickets. This win means the 2nd Team will be playing Northamptonshire Cricket League Division 4 cricket in 2016.
