Geddington 2nd Team were defeated by 7 wickets against Northampton Saints 3rd Team at Wootton Hall on Saturday.
Miah Mohammed (50) top-scored with a half-century for Northampton Saints as they reached their target in the 48th over with three wickets down, Bobby Hussain (49*) and Dave Shardlow (40*) were also in the runs for the home side, as both B Hussain and Shardlow put on an unbeaten 79 partnership for the 4th wicket. James Schofield (2-21) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with two wickets and there was also a wicket for Mark Neave (1-43).
Earlier, Geddington batted first and were All Out for 166 in 43.2 overs, Danial O'Callaghan (35) top-scored for the visitors, Neave (28), David Goodjohn (24) and Lee Sutherland (23) were all in the runs for the away side. Ryan Donnelly (4-22) was the pick of the Northampton Saints bowlers with four wickets, Luke Sonton (3-25) also picked up three wickets and there was also two for Mohammed (2-32) for the home side.
