Geddington 2nd Team got their first win of the season with a 3 wicket win away at Kislingbury 1st Team on Saturday.
Steve Toseland (87) and Colin Judd (36) got the Geddington innings off to a good start chasing 257 to win by putting on 107 for the 1st wicket partnership, then Danial O'Callaghan (81) took over by scoring a half-century himself for the visitors, but in the end it was a boundary from Mark Neave to guide the away side to their first win in seven attempts. Noorulla Alozi (2-35), Benjamin Swingler-Brown (2-45) and Dale Ansell (2-62) all took two wickets each for Kislingbury.
Earlier, Kislingbury batted first and made 256-6 off their 50 overs, Swingler-Brown (92*) top-scored with an unbeaten half-century for the home side, Stuart Brown (57) also scored a half-century, as both Swingler-Brown and S Brown put on 100 for the 6th wicket partnership after being 90-5. James Schofield (3-50) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with three wickets, Brandon Holmes, Lee Sutherland and Judd all took a wicket each with the ball for the visitors.
