Geddington 2nd Team were defeated by 5 wickets away at Grendon & Prims 1st Team on Saturday.
Geddington batted first and made 185-9 off their 50 overs, Steve Toseland (78) continued his fine form with the bat with another half-century his 4th in the row for the visitors since he scored the century away at S & L Corby on the 21st May, Marcus Knight (30) was also in the runs. Harry Moore (3-25), Perry Moore (3-44) and Philip Young (3-50) all took three wickets each with the ball for Grendon & Prims.
In reply, Grendon & Prims reached their target in the 47th over with 5 wickets to spare, Dave Wood (59) top-scored for the home side with a half-century, Dan Wood (37), Jack Clark (28), H Moore (24) and Nick Colbourn (21) were also in the runs for the hosts. Colin Judd (2-25) was the pick of the Geddington bowlers with two wickets, Knight, Mark Pearson and Callum Fox also took a wicket each with the ball for the visitors.
